Spitsbergen

Solitary, mysterious and extreme - Spitsbergen is considered the gateway to the North Pole.
The landscape is shaped by ice, wind and the sea. High mountain ranges and crystal clear arctic waters, glaciers and ice masses offer many sights that demand a photo.

In summer, Spitsbergen, also called Svalbard, offers numerous expedition cruises to the “king of the arctic” -the polar bear- to observe him in its natural habitat. Reindeer, polar foxes, walruses and numerous species of birds can also be discovered during the midnight sun.
